Online Marketing Manager

As YouSwoop's Online Marketing Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in our day-to-day success. You will manage our online brand and ensure that everything we publish is on point and crafted with marketing genius. To apply today, send your cover letter & resume to jobs@youswoop.com.

Your responsibilities will include...
  • Manage YouSwoop’s Email Campaign Program, including sending our daily emails.
  • Optimize the layout and organization of features on YouSwoop.com to improve revenue, engine visibility and create a favorable user experience.
  • Review features prior to them going live to ensure each is crafted with marketing genius – from the right image to most appealing copy
  • Monitor website purchasing and ensure the proper inventory for each feature is updated.
  • Utilize YouSwoop’s Social Media.
  • Optimize website structure, link strategy and content to maximize qualified organic traffic (SEO).
  • Analyze data and reports, including Google Analytics to make informed decisions on executing the above responsibilities
  • Creating and leading campaigns to drive revenue and generate leads cross all marketing channels
  • Manage Marketing and PR interns.

    • .Net Developer

  • Creating payment schedules for merchants in Excel and Google Docs
  • Accurately entering bills into QuickBooks for our merchants, vendors and partners
  • Make timely payments and communicating with vendors as necessary
  • Daily bookkeeping and accounting functions
  • Performing other related bookkeeping duties as required

  • Creating interactive website and mobile design mock ups in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Coding html emails for daily email campaigns (sent to 200K+ Chicagoans)
  • Designing daily feature images (Each deal on our site has a custom designed deal image)
  • Creating landing pages for marketing campaigns
  • Designing brochures, posters and other print materials for the marketing department

    Spring and Summer of 2013 will be an exhilarating time of growth at YouSwoop. Therefore, we’re looking for “Swoopterns” to drive this growth, increase awareness, refine our branding and influence the next stage of our success. Our mentorship programs are a way to gain real-life experiences that will lead to enhancement of communication and leadership skills, creativity and decision-making capabilities.
