Created by college roommates James Kinnaird and Jeffrey Zucker, Pizza Persona lets you create your own combinations with fresh ingredients. That means no freezers and no microwaves involved. From their menu you can choose a pre-designed pick-a-persona pizza such as the Meathead, with traditional sauce, mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni and bacon, or the Clubber, with ranch, mozzarella, cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken and bacon. Or get a little adventurous making your own 10-inch pizza. First you can choose from white, wheat or gluten-free dough (with an additional $2 for gluten free). Then pick a sauce like traditional, pesto, BBQ, ranch, garlic olive oil, spicy thai or hot sauce. Top that with some cheese if you’d like, but with feta, cheddar, ricotta and a variety of mozzarellas it’ll be hard to choose. From then on out it’s a free for all of fresh toppings like spinach, black olives, banana peppers, basil, cilantro, pineapple and more. You can also pick up to two premium toppings, like bacon, ham, mushrooms and pepperoni. Wash down that delicious, hand-tossed pizza with a Goose Island bottled beer or a fountain drink.
