You can’t help yourself, you’ve wondered if you could ever develop the ability to walk on water. It may have caused a few cases of drenched pants. Get the walking on water experience you’ve always dreamed of with today’s Swoop from Shaka Water Sports. Choose from the following options:

  • $90 for a paddle boarding rental and lesson for four people (a $200 value)

Shaka Water Sports is introducing a new mode of aquatic entertainment to the Midwest. A stand up paddle board looks something like a surfboard, but with more stability in the water and weighs about 20 pounds. You’ll get one of these bad boys to rent and use in your four-hour lesson. Their experienced teachers will guide you first on the beach with how to stand and balance on the board before you take to the water. You’ll learn how to paddle and glide across the water. Your lesson includes a board, paddle, ankle-leash and life vest to get you paddling safely across the water. With two people, you’ll each get two hours on a board and with four people, you’ll each get one hour on a board. You can choose from four different locations and types of water to learn on. If Lake Michigan seems a little intimidating, you can head out to a smaller beach in Highland Park or go to the Skokie lagoons. With this full body workout you’ll get more than just a fun lesson on the water. And if you want to keep it up, you’re in luck. You get a $50 voucher toward a new paddle board and paddling packages with your Swoop. So stop just standing around and Swoop in on today’s deal to stand on the water.
